We are excited to share we are have reopened as of Friday, May 15th.

First, I wanted to thank everyone who was so supportive these last two months. Your online orders, your emails, your DM’s, your comments. We are so grateful for each and every one.

We will be opening with limited hours to start:

Mon-Tues: closed

Wed: 11 am to 5 pm

Thurs- Fri: 11 am to 6 pm

Sat: 10 am to 5 pm

Sun: 11 am to 5 pm


Private shopping appts daily 10-11am, and any time up to one hour after close (see below for more details)

At our stores, the health and safety of our customers and staff have always been of utmost importance. We are following all recommendations put forth by the KCMO reopening guide ‘Safe Return KC’ as well as consulting with medical professionals.

Everyone who enters the shops, both staff and customers, is asked to wear a mask. We have paper masks available for anyone who needs one. We also sell fabric masks. For every fabric mask you buy, we donate one to Hope House, a domestic violence shelter here in KC.

Everyone will be asked to hand sanitize when they enter.

In order to maintain social distancing, we will be serving fewer customers at a time, and may need to ask you to wait outside. Kate can accommodate fifteen customers and two staffers.

We will be sanitizing any clothing that is tried on. In addition we are sanitizing any high-touch areas after every customer.

We will continue to offer a variety of local options to match your comfort level: delivery within a three-mile radius, curbside pickup during all open hours, and we are happy to announce we have added 1:1 private shopping appointments and shopping via FaceTime.

A 1:1 shopping appointment can be booked by emailing us at hello@shopkatekc.com. They are available in thirty-minute increments, and will be available 10-11 and 5-6 every day. Please allow 24-hours notice when booking. Shopping via FaceTime is available during any open hours. Feel free to text the shop ahead of time to confirm if a staffer is free.

We ask anyone who isn’t feeling well to please shop from the comfort of their home, either through our website or via FaceTime.
