Free money at KATE, what?
We reward you for both how often you shop + how much you spend! After six purchases, get 5% of what you spent back towards a future shopping trip. And it gets better! After your first card is full, you will move up to our silver card, then our gold card. With each card, your rewards increase! Silver members get 7% back, and gold members get 10% back.
So how do I get involved?
Next time you are in the shop, we will ask you if you want to be part of our VIP program! Our amazing sales associate will get you a card on which you just need to fill in your information and address. We will record the total* you spent that day in the first box on the card. We keep your cards in-house, so no need to worry about carrying it with you. The next time you visit, grab your card from the VIP box at the back of the shop, and bring it up to the register when you are ready to check out.
What's with the * after 'total'?
The amount we record in the box is your order total pre-tax, post-discounts.
What if I return or exchange something?
For any returns we will decrease the box to match the revised total spent on the day in question. For any exchanges we will apply any extra store credit against the future purchase as a discount, so your card accurately reflects the additional money spent at your future purchase.
How do I get my reward?
After your sixth, twelfth, eighteenth, etc, purchase, your total % spent will be calculated by our team and a card will be mailed to you (yay! I don't know about you, but getting mail that isn't A) junk or B) a bill is pretty much the cherry on my day). Discounts are mailed bi-monthly.
I got my reward in the mail, now what?
Bring the reward with you next time you'd like to shop! In there will be a code for your total % reward. Our associate will apply that reward to your order. Please note you must spend the entire reward in one visit.
I forgot my reward at home. What now?
We always LOVE to see you! Unfortunately you do need to have that mailed reward along with you. Our associates are not able to look up your card.
I'm an online customer. Can I participate?
Absolutely! When you place your order online, we will add your purchase onto your card. Feel free to call or email to hear how your card is filling up!
Can I split my purchase today into six so I can fill up a card right away?
Points for the MacGyver approach, but no. If you do happen to make multiple purchases in the same day (trust us, we do the same thing - 'oh wait, those earrings, I need those!'), all subtotals will be combined and written into one box.
My Mom and I both shop with you often. Can we share a card?
No, cards are one-per-person and not transferable.
I shop at Kate and Lady Bye and COCO. Can I use one card for all stores?
No, cards and rewards credit are not transferable between shops.
What other fine print should I note?
We do not share your information with anyone and only use your contact information for internal operations.
KATE reserves the right to modify or cancel the program. Fifteen days' notice will be given in the event this ever happens.
In the event of any discrepancies, KATE management will audit your VIP card and/or your reward card against your customer record. In the event purchases have been falsified, customer will be excluded from further participation in the program.
Rewards credit cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions.
Entire reward credit must be used all at once.
